At Palmetto State Pet Services, we strive to keep our pricing straightforward and affordable. Cremation costs are based on your pet’s weight.

All deceased pets are respectfully provided with a cadaver bag, ID cover slip, and a hair clipping at no additional charge.

Pet owners can visit the shop link on the Pet Owner Resources page of our website to browse and order a variety of memorial products, including alternative urns and cremation jewelry, to best honor their pet’s memory.

Their ashes are gently scattered on a serene grassy meadow near our facility—a peaceful hillside where many beloved pets have been laid to rest. A simple cross marks the area, serving as a quiet, meaningful tribute to love, remembrance, and the bond shared with each cherished companion.

Following euthanasia, the veterinarian will discuss cremation options with the pet owner and provide details about the available services. Based on the owner's preference, they may choose to have their pet’s ashes returned in an urn or gently scattered. Once a decision is made, the pet’s information is entered into our Beloved Pet Software. This automatically notifies our team that the pet is ready for pickup, allowing us to take over with care and begin the cremation process.

We offer cremations for all animals weighing up to 300 lbs.
